This house had 3 attic spaces which made it very difficult to install the access points. I started with the main attic space on the second floor, all HVAC equipment was housed in this space. I could see previous low voltage runs going down to the attic space on the first floor but fishing was impossible due to fire breaks and foam. I have a long fishing drill bit but was worried about punching threw drywall. I opted to install both AP AC Lite's on the second floor. I installed both Ap's at opposite ends of the attic/house hoping that they would provide acquitted coverage for both first and second floors of the house. After some testing threw out the house WiFi throughput was good, full signal in every room and AP roaming was descent. I used the US-8-150W managed switch to provide power to the AP's and the cloud controller so there is plenty of space for more AP's or POE cameras if needed in the future.
